Ok, so I've never blogged before. Thought I'd try it out as a way of staying in touch with friends and family. Please bear with me as I test the waters and find my way around.
We've had a pretty exciting weekend. See, two years ago I sold a horse. This was the first horse that I had bought for my daughter and I. We've regretted selling her since the day she left. Two other horses have come and gone in our lives, but they weren't able to touch our hearts or our souls the way Beloved did. Well, a couple of weeks ago I accidentally clicked on a website and saw that Love was for sale. That day I got the mail and the only thing to come that day were three horse catalogs. I took that as a sign. Beloved was to come home! She arrived Friday night and is staying at my friend's barn just ten minutes away. Lexi was completely shocked. She had no idea Love was coming! You should see the two of them together. The chemistry is still there. They are still best friends. Lexi can't wait to hop on and ride, but the weather is cold and VERY windy (it was snowing yesterday!) and we are letting Love get used to her new surroundings. She's enjoying sturring up trouble at the new barn...she's the only girl with four boys! She's earned herself a new knickname....She is the Resident B W (Barn Whore).
